Advent Resources

A list of devotional resources for individuals, couples, and families for the Advent season.

Some might ask, "What is Advent?" Well, “advent” is a word that simply means “the coming” or “the arrival”. Traditionally, it is a time (in the weeks before Christmas) in which Christians prepare for our corporate celebration of the Incarnation, of God “coming” or “arriving” in human flesh.

God’s word does not tell us explicitly to celebrate Advent. But like many things in the church and from church history, when the word of God is our foundation and guide, Advent can be a helpful tool in helping us make the most of the Season.
