We're currently in a recommendation phase in our pandemic guidelines at Way of Grace. Thus, we simply want to remind you about current recommendations from our public health officials in regard to group gathering(s)(like our Sunday service, for example): 1) the best protection against getting/giving the virus is to get vaccinated, 2) if you are not vaccinated, it's recommended you wear a mask in public settings, 3) in areas of "substantial" or "high" transmission (like Buckeye--click here for current numbers), it's recommended that even vaccinated individuals wear a mask, since 'breakthrough' cases (and transmission) are still possible, and 4) please stay home if you are feeling sick, and quarantine if exposed to someone who has the virus.
In light of these recommendations we encourage each of you to stay informed about the presence of COVID-19 in our community (see "Dashboard" link below), and from there (in light of your own health status and the vulnerable in your circle), to make an informed decision about attending and mask-wearing on Sunday mornings. To be clear, since these are only recommendations, we cannot speak to the question of how many will be masked on any given Sunday.
We will continue 'social distance' seating and encourage each of you to be respectful of spacing and contact when interacting with others. If you were exposed to someone with COVID-19, or if you have tested positive for the virus, please see our February 2021 update below for guidelines regarding attendance.
