For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Let us therefore celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (1 Corinthians 5:7a–8)

Agape is one of the Greek words in the New Testament for "love". It was also a word used to describe the earliest Christian gatherings (Jude 12--"love feasts"), where they sought to love on another, in light of God's love through Jesus, and through the death of Jesus. Join us this Good Friday as we celebrate the redeeming work of God through Jesus. While we enjoy a meal together--food items from the first Passover (Exodus 12:3, 8)--we will consider the four 'redemption meals' described in Scripture (Exodus 12:1-28; Matthew 26:17-29; 1 Corinthians 11:17-34; Revelation 19:6-9). Prayers, songs, and discussion will all be woven together with God's word as we remember the suffering and death of Jesus, and encourage one another in the powerful significance of his sacrifice. We hope you will join us.
