"But stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” (Luke 24:49)

"...they went up to the upper room... [and] with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer..." (Acts 1:13,14)  

Our 'relaunch' as Way of Grace Church is approaching. Thank you to those who have been praying in light of this. What is a 'relaunch'? It's not only a chance to reintroduce ourselves to our community, and recommit ourselves to God's work in this community, but more importantly, to be renewed in our identity and mission as God's people. 

I don't need to tell you the past 16 months have made an impact on each and every one of us, in sometimes hard, but also helpful ways. As we are moving through and out of that season, it is so important that all of us come together to talk, listen, and pray. Isn't this what the first followers of Jesus did in Acts 1 when they gathered in that upper room 2000 years ago, waiting for God's power and guidance? Acts 2 reveals how God powerfully answered their prayers in and through the church. We should desire the same!

Every Sunday evening in August and September (beginning this Sunday, August 1) from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, our Ministry House will be open for prayer. Each Sunday we will share a short encouragement from Scripture about being the church, followed by a time to pray for God's work among us through his Spirit (and feel free to stay and chat afterward).
